I am a Graduate of University of Kansas with a degree in business. In the 1980’s I started my career in business and after a few years in corporate sales, I felt lead to commercial real estate in Dallas Texas, including land and site acquisition. Although I enjoyed that work – I felt called to do more of God’s work. After graduating from Seminary in Kansas City, I relocated to Saint Louis, where I pastored a church for over 20 years.
A few years ago, I started a new season in my life when my wife and I moved to Jacksonville. I was blessed to combine two things that I have a strong interest in, real estate and helping people! The perfect fit was joining the Randy Martin Team at Watson Realty, where we all are liked-minded and try to focus on our clients first. Our goal is to do what is best for our customers, with the utmost integrity in the sight of God. We listen, try to understand their vision, and hopefully, help them to achieve it by finding the right house that fits their needs and their budget as well, which is not always easy! My background in acquisition helps remind me to beware of the financial aspect of any purchase or sale, and to balance both the heart decision of acquiring a dream home, as well as the monetary aspect of staying within budget. My experience has been that as I spend time with my customers, I get a sense of what they want and actually enjoy the journey with them!
Although no two real estate deals are the same, every person I’ve ever worked with wants the same things: to be treated with respect, and to know I have their best interests at heart, working as a servant for them too, and as time goes on, earn their trust as we work together. That is what I try to provide to each customer! Thankfully, my customer base grows each year and my friendships grow exponentially with each new transaction!
